Wonky Veg

Don't reject it because it's unusual - it'll still taste the same in your stew.

So there's apparently this new proposition to allow wonky fruit and veg into British supermarkets, because the rain this year has made crops so terrible that not using the weird veg is considered wasteful.

Ummm.. why wasn't it considered wasteful anyway? What kind of world do we live in where our vegetables have to be uniform in shape?
